Jumeirah
Jumeirah is a residential area, situated along the
coast of Dubai. The area consists of expensive and modest
housing with a number of modern architectural styles. Some of
the expensive houses are located on large detached properties.
This area is extremely popular with expatriates, who are
working in Dubai, as well as with local residents.
Did you know that the Arabs who lived in Jumeirah in the olden
days were fishermen and pearls divers? Later on, this area saw
huge expansion programs and became famous as an area, where
western expatriates made their residence. A number of star

have been built all along Jumeirah beach. Jumeirah has one of
those rare mosques, which is open to non-Muslims, so that they
get an insight into Islam.

and which offers excellent food and good coffee. The Villa
Beach Restaurant presents a wonderful view of the Arabian Gulf
while you eat some delectable a la carte treats. Walk along
the beach and step into the Marina, where you can tuck into
some fine sea food amidst extremely elegant décor. Should you
like to try some authentic Argentinean cuisine, come down to
the La Parilla. You will find the Zhenq He, which is a Chinese
restaurant that is a little unusual. Here, you get food which
is a fusion of the West and the Far East.
Jumeirah offers visitors and residents an excellent choice of
night life, as well as bars and restaurants. The Beach Bar is
Dubai’s beach-based bar in Jumeirah. The Boudoir Dubai Marine
Beach Resort & Spa is a swanky bar and club with a chic and
exclusive atmosphere. The El Paso is a sports bar, where you
get some exceptional food. If you have an ear for music, the
Lounge Bar is the place for you – you could listen to the
in-house pianist.
If you are a tourist, you will find that you have a number of
activities to do during your leisure. You can visit the
Aquaventure, which is the newest water park in Dubai. You can
have all the adventure here – glide through shark-infested
